I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! finally returned to our screens last night after a year away as ten brand new famous faces entered the camp in North Wales’ Gwrych Castle and although the celebrities have only just met for the first time, viewers think they’ve already spotted a feud brewing between two campmates.
The celebrities were put through their paces from the moment they arrived and faced a number of tricky challenges before they even stepped foot in their new residence.
One task saw the stars work in pairs in to retrieve a tool from a hole in the ground that had been filled with snakes and it was here that fans noticed tension seemingly brewing between football legend David Ginola and former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips.
Before the task started, Arlene declared, “The red team don’t have a cha-cha-chance with me around,” leaving David baffled and things only got worse during the challenge when she struggled to remove the tool from the ground which meant their rivals Kadeena Cox and Matty Lee won.
Taking to social media to speculate about the relationship between the two, one viewer wrote, “David and Arlene are gonna have beef I'm calling it #ImACeleb.”
Another tweeted, “David trying not to lose patience with Arlene #ImACeleb,” while a third commented, “David looks so done with Arlene already.”
One more said, “Just putting it out there, but I reckon Arlene and David will start to grate on each other when they start to get hungry and tempers become frayed #ImACeleb.”

This all comes after campmatesDanny Miller and Matty Lee both admitted to breaking a major rule before they even arrived in Wales as they let slip the news they were taking part in the show despite being sworn to secrecy.
Revealing that he’d confided in his close pal and former Emmerdale co-star Adam Thomas, who came third on I’m A Celeb in 2016, Danny said, “I feel like I am a step ahead as I’ve asked him questions about what it will be like. Obviously he was in Australia and this is in Wales but he has been amazing in helping to settle my nerves."
Matty also admitted he’d spilled the tea about his involvement to diving partner Tom Daley after the pair won gold at Tokyo 2020.
“When I told Tom, he was in shock too! He is so excited for me and he has always been so supportive and helped me a lot over the past three years. He gives me advice about anything whether it is relationships or whatever - I always ask Tom,” said the sports star.
