I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’s Victoria Derbyshire has admitted she secretly swapped messages with fellow campmate Jordan North BEFORE the entered the castle.
Victoria and Jordan’s connection was revealed during the first episode of this year’s series, when the Radio 1 DJ explained that he used to work behind the scenes on her BBC show.
Now, a week after Giovanna Fletcher was crowned the first ever Queen of the Castle, Victoria has shared a text conversation she had with Jordan while they were both in isolation in North Wales before heading into camp at Gwrych Castle.
In the messages, Victoria asked Jordan, “Oh my god are u doing I’m A Celeb?!?!?!??!!!”
But both keep their cards close to their chest as Jordan quizzed, “Are you!? Is it true? Xx,” to which Victoria replied, “Can’t confirm or deny – same for you?!?!”
“Haha yep,” Jordan wrote back, as Victoria speculated, “I bet we’re even near each other RIGHT NOW!!!”
She added, “It’s gonna be the biggest laugh EVER.”

Victoria shared the messages on her Instagram story and wrote, “Ha just remembered this - @jordannorth1 and me in quarantine in separate places in Wales skirting around the face we were both doing @imacelebrity.”
Victoria and Jordan were soon reunited in camp, where they were joined by the likes of Vernon Kay, Shane Richie and Beverley Callard.
The 52-year-old journalist and broadcaster was the fourth celebrity eliminated from camp alongside Corrie legend Beverley, while Jordan made it all the way to the final before finishing in second place.

Although he was one of the most popular campmates this series, Jordan revealed earlier this week that he only joined the line-up 48 hours before being whisked off into isolation after music producer Naughty Boy (aka Shahid Khan) dropped out.
A music insider explained, “Shah was so excited to take part in the show as it would’ve been such a great platform for him to step out from behind the scenes a bit.
“He’s an absolute megastar in music and has worked with all sorts of people from Emeli Sande, Sam Smith and Zayn Malik to Beyonce, but only a few people know what the man behind the hits is really like.
“Shah is really humble and actually quite shy, but he has so many great anecdotes about the people he’s worked with. Producers were gutted when he dropped out and hope he might be able to take part in future years, but they could never have foreseen the success Jordan then had.”
