There's been a lot made out about diversity on this year's Love Island, with viewers urging ITV to make this year's Islanders more diverse from past series. However, a lot of viewers were left disappointed when the initial 2019 cast were announced.
So, when 2018 Islanders Laura Anderson and Adam Collard joined us for heat's Love Island: Under the Duvet, we couldn't wait to find out their views.
Speaking to Jordan Lee, Laura highighted how she felt people shouldn't be judged on their looks, "I had a chat the other day about this, to be honest we are always talking about body and looks. I don't know why Britain is so obsessed with appearance."
She went on to defend the show on its diversity, "For me, diversity can be in personality, and I think it is diverse in regards to personality."
Adam then added, "I’m going to go for the gym angle, how do you know they’ve not cast them a different way and then they’ve just hit the gym hard?"
