By dating in this way, the show sets out to prove whether an emotional connection trumps a physical one, and whether love really is blind.
Over the course of a month, singles propose and get engaged without ever having seen each other, before move in together and getting married. It's wild.

Fans were concerned for the welfare of Jessica Batten's dog, Payton, after she was seen feeding him wine in episode 6.
Luckily a sip of Merlot didn't cause Payton any harm, but Jessica did recently reveal that her pooch was seriously ill during filming.
In an Instagram post, Jessica said: "During the filming of the show in 2018, she ingested a very small piece of a stick. Unfortunately, this little stick lodged into her intestines in the perfect way that the vet had to perform surgery to remove it.
"I was beside myself, devastated and all the while cameras were rolling. Fortunately, she made it through the surgery but they were certain she couldn’t overcome the post trauma. Every night after working and filming my struggles with whether love was blind or not, I would go lay with her in the ICU cage."
Payton survived the surgery and according to Jessica he is now "thriving", phew.
