Love is Blind

There’s nothing we love more than sticking on our finest loungewear and settling down in front of the TV for a massive Netflix binge and our latest streaming addiction is Love is Blind, a dating show which explores whether or not love actually is blind.

Single men and women date each other in pods where they’re unable to see what the other person looks like and even get engaged without having so much as a glimpse at their significant other’s face.

Yep, it’s completely wild… which is absolutely why we love it.

The show has become a huge hit for Netflix – with all the hilarious memes dominating our social media feeds – and after airing the final episode of the first series, which revealed which couples said I do, talk has turned to a possible second series.

Show runner Chris Coelen has revealed that the streaming giant are “in talks” to make series two and even teased the possibility over bringing the show over the pond.

“We’re certainly talking about [season 2], yeah," he told Metro. “I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing people put to the test of whether love is blind well into the future. That’s what I would certainly hope for.”

And when asked about a UK version of the show, Chris added, “Absolutely! 100 percent yes. Let’s make it happen, I’d love it.”

So would we Chris, so would we.

Love Is Blind was actually filmed back in November and December 2018, meaning that if the couples in the show stayed married, they'll have been married for just over a year already.

Can you imagine not posting any smug pics of your S/O for a whole year?

The show is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, reality TV stars themselves. Nick and Vanessa are much more involved in the show than you might think. Nick revealed that they would interview each contestant when they came out of the pod-dates.

"We would interview them when they came out of the pods. We would say, 'Who was that with? Where's your head at?'" Nick told Entertainment Weekly.
