How much do Love Island contestants get paid?

The contestants get paid £250 a week to appear on the show, which really isn't much at all when you think about it!

According to the Daily Star, this year's Islanders will receive £250 per week to 'compensate' the time they are giving up to be in the villa. This might not seem a huge amount, but if they are in from start to finish, the Islanders could make a cool £2000 for sitting around the luxurious villa. Not bad!

Despite this, a source has told the publication they think it's not enough, adding: "Everyone now knows that stepping into that villa brings good and bad things.

"They risk coming out and being trolled on Twitter, their dreams of being a big reality star dashed, work dries up and ending up feeling depressed and having issues."
