He looks completely smitten with Irish beauty Maura Higgins at the moment, but Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has opened up about his sexuality in a recent interview, admitting he would be open to having a relationship with a man in the future.
Curtis, who had an awkward reunion with his ex-flame Amy Hart on Sunday night's reunion show, spoke to The Sun about his sexuality, where he said he would never rule anything out.
He told the publication, “I’ve been with women and I’m with a woman now. You can never put a label on anything. It’s a cliche to say, but love is blind. I can never ever say what will happen in the future. I wouldn’t rule anything out.”
Of course, after leaving the villa last week, Curtis is now dating fellow Islander Maura Higgins, with the pair looking super loved-up during last night's reunion show.
After his recent revelation, Curtis appeared on today's (Monday 5th August) episode of Lorraine, where he gushed about his girl.
Asked about THAT interview and what that meant for Maura, Curtis said, “Basically, I’m happy with Maura. I’m happy with how things are going with Maura and I can see a future with Maura. We’ve both said the same thing sort of. That’s that really. Maura’s head is clear and my head is clear on where we’re going. But I think the future is an unwritten path sometimes and you don’t know. Like last year, would I have ever said I’d have been on Love Island? No, never.”
The loved-up pair were forced to reunite with Amy Hart during Sunday's reunion, when Caroline Flack got the trio on the sofa together for a chat. After fans of the show took to Twitter to express how awkward they found the situation, Curtis has now spoke about the meeting.
Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Curtis said, “I rang Amy on Saturday [before the show], I spoke to her already which was really nice. We had a great conversation, a quick conversation, how she’s doing, how I’m doing… I’ve got a lot of respect for Amy, she’s great, she’s amazing.
“It was fractionally awkward to start with, I felt, I hadn’t seen her properly yet and I did have feelings for her. It was good. Later on in the after party it was nice, we got along really well.”
So, it looks the pair are friends! 🙏
