There’s been a spate of celeb break-ups during lockdown but perhaps the most surprising of all is Sam Thompson’s shock split from Zara McDermott amid allegations she cheated on him while appearing on The X Factor: Celebrity.
Despite both breaking their silence on social media in recent days, neither Sam nor Zara have directly addressed their relationship or the cheating rumours and we still have so many questions tbh.
It sounds like all could be revealed very soon though as Sam and Zara’s split is set to play out in explosive scenes on the new series of Made in Chelsea, according to reports.
“The cameras have captured the whole fallout of Zara and Sam's dramatic split,” a source told The Sun.
“It means viewers will get to see the raw emotion caused by Zara's infidelity last year, as Sam tries to come to terms with what has happened.
“There's going to be a lot of tears and rows as Zara fights for her relationship.”

Last weekend, Sam spoke out for the first time since ending his relationship with Zara to thank Celebs Go Dating co-star Pete Wicks for being there for him to “lean on” while he was feeling “down”.
He shared a photo of him and Pete, in which he’d aged the Essex lothario’s face using an app, on Instagram and wrote, “Thank you so much for putting up with me for the past week @p_wicks01 I’m incredibly lucky to have people I can lean on when I’m down. I know you’re not the soppy type, but you really are the brother I never had. I love you mate ❤️ #WEGOAGAIN💪🏻 good to see I haven’t aged you over the past 6 days 😂.”
It’s thought that Sam has been filming the celebrity special series of The Circle following his split from Zara but it’s been claimed the Love Island star has vowed to win back her boyfriend and is set for “crisis talks” to save their relationship when he returns home.
