Married at First Sight viewers were left fumin’ last night after E4 accidentally re-played Wednesday’s episode instead of the final.
Excited viewers tuned in to see if Amy and Josh, Tayah and Adam, and Morag and Luke had decided to renew their vows after the experiment – but were sorely disappointed when a technical issue saw them rewatching the penultimate episode.
Despite the channel’s best efforts – during which time they even briefly showed a section of their flagship dating show First Dates – fans were forced to wait until tonight to find out what happens to the remaining three couples, after Franky and Marylise and Dan and Matt both chose to remain married.

Since the final episode, Adam and Tayah have been very loved-up on socials, it looks like this pair could last forever!
Luke and Morag - SPLIT
It's safe to say Luke and Morag didn't get off to the best start during the MAFS process. After Morag confessed she didn't find her husband attractive, the couple struggled with intimacy. However, by the end of the process, Luke and Morag had seemingly found a spark, with the pair choosing to stay together during the final vow renewal. Despite this, the pair confirmed during the reunion show they'd split up, with Morag admitting Luke hadn't phoned her since the process ended. However, Luke later said it was because Morag still didn't care for him.
Daniel and Matt - TOGETHER
Despite seemingly falling for each other very quickly, Daniel and Matt had their struggles due to Matt living in Leeds and Daniel being from Northern Ireland. However, after remaining together during the final vow renewal, the pair have been seriously loved-up on social media and admitted during the reunion they are very happy together! We have high hopes for these two!
Marilyse and Franky - SPLIT
These two shocked viewers during the final vow renewal when they revealed their true feelings for each other, with Franky even admitting he was ready to move back to the UK from Dubai. Franky later gushed about his girl on social media, admitting he'd moved to the same town as Marilyse and met her children. However, on Friday 8th October, the pair both released statements confirmed they'd split. They remain good friends.
Josh and Amy - SPLIT
There's no denying the fact that Josh and Amy had a whirlwind experience during the MAFS experiment. After the pair had initial doubts over their age-gap, the couple experienced a number of fiery arguments and disagreements. However, by the end of the process the pair seemed closer than ever, with Josh opening up about his feelings towards Amy during the final vow renewal. The pair have been pretty quiet on social media since the final and during the reunion show they confirmed they are no longer together.

Channel 4 said in a statement, “Viewers might have noticed last night that instead of the eagerly anticipated finale of Married at First Sight UK, a repeat was broadcast. This follows the incident at the weekend which has caused ongoing technical issues for Channel 4’s services. We apologise for any disappointment this has caused.”
They went on to confirm that the final will air tonight (Friday 1st October) at 9pm on E4, before becoming available on All 4 shortly after 10pm.

Following in the footsteps of the Australian version, this year producers orchestrated weekly dinner parties where all the couples sat down for a chat with lots of booze, and it’s fair to say they’ve not been the civilised affair you’d expect of a grown-up soirée.
The final dinner party was no exception, with producers laying an ‘honesty box’ component to the evening’s proceedings, where diners could submit anonymous questions for others in the group, and Matt – who made history as one half of the franchise’s first gay marriage this series – gained praise on social media for his take down of Essex girl Morag.
