Following the end of Celebs Go Dating, and with no Love Island on our screens until later this year, Married At First Sight Australia has quickly become our latest telly obsession.
If you’ve somehow not heard of the hottest show on the box, let us fill you in. MAFS follows a group of Aussie singletons who get hitched to their spouses the first time they meet. Yep, the first time they lay eyes in each other is as they’re walking down the aisle.
As you can expect, much drama ensues as the couples spend time getting to know each other and try to live happily ever after.

The series might be coming to an end this week (SOB) but there’s good news as Married At First Sight UK bosses are reportedly switching up the format of the show to be more like the more dramatic – and frankly, better – Australian version.
Oh, and they’re looking for singles to apply if you fancy it.

According to reports, the sixth season of Married At First Sight UK will undergo a complete makeover for 2021 - featuring a "bigger, more explosive take on the format."
A TV insider told The Sun, “Married At First Sight UK started out as much more of a straight TV experiment looking at relationships.
"Producers were already looking to shake up the format, but the huge success of the Aussie version has convinced them they have the chance to reinvent the show and create one of this country’s most talked- about TV hits.
“They’re looking for particularly attractive and interesting characters to ensure the British reincarnation is as explosive as the one Down Under.”
OMG. We can’t wait to tune in.
