When Love Island's Olivia Attwood was forced to pull out of the last series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds in November 2022, we don’t know who was more gutted: her or us. But with reports claiming ITV are desperate to get her to return for the new series, we’re told Olivia is determined to show everyone she’s got what it takes to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

“Olivia still feels like she has unfinished business. She was heartbroken that she had to leave the last series early, because I’m A Celeb is her favourite show. But she had to follow doctors’ orders. The producers said to her at the time that the door would be left open, and she has made sure that her diary has been cleared for later this year – nothing will stop her taking part.”

The source continues, “ITV bosses think she will be a massive ratings hit. Not only does she look fabulous, but they believe she will really embrace jungle life and the tasks – and get on well with the other campmates. And she’s  not shy with her opinions, either, which will make for great telly.”

The former Love Islander left the jungle after two days when doctors became concerned about her health, with blood tests showing she had dangerously low potassium levels. She said at the time, “I was absolutely devastated. I’m not a crier but I started to cry… I was heartbroken.”

And, while the larger-than-life TV personality waits for her opportunity to come round again, she has plenty to keep her busy, including preparing for her wedding to footballer fiancé Bradley Dack, 29, who she’s been engaged to since 2019. Olivia confirmed to fans on an Instagram Q&A that the big day will take place this year, after previously postponing it three times. “Omg, this question comes up so much. It’s this year, and that’s all you get for now,” teased the 31 year old.

But with the wheels finally in motion, we are told that Olivia is taking the wedding planning in her stride, and keeping her eyes firmly on the I’m A Celeb-shaped prize. “The only downside to going back into the jungle for Olivia is the fact that she will have to spend so long away from Bradley, and her beloved dogs Lola and Stich,” our insider says.

“But Olivia thinks 2023 could be the biggest year of her life. She wants to make the most of it, and all the spin-off chances that come her way.”
