Stranger Things 2 has literally been out on Netflix a few days, but if you're anything like us you will have binged your way through the entire series in a matter of hours, and will now be wondering how you're going to survive without another dose of drama from the Upside Down.
Well, wonder no more. Because we've just uncovered the Stranger Things cast's audition tapes, and they're as amazing as you'd expect.
In the videos, the cast range from 10 to 13 years old, but their acting is as incredible as ever.
Yup, get yourself back onto Netflix, because Stranger Things' spinoff show, Beyond Stranger Things, reveals the most incredible videos of Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Caleb McLoughlin (Lucas Sinclair), and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) reading for their parts in the first season.
Millie Bobby Brown is seen sobbing her eyes out reading an audition scene for the part of eleven, while Finn Wolfhard absolutely smashes one of Mike's scenes where he's arguing with his sister Nancy.
(Apparently, Finn was ill in bed at the time of his audition, and literally filmed his tape on an iPhone... )
Plus, Noah Schnapp is seen filming a predictably deep Will Byers scene, Caleb McLoughlin is Lucas at his best, and of course, Gaten Matarazzo gives his first rendition of Dustin, lisp and all.
The audition tapes also come alongside a commentary from the cast, who cringe as they look back at their younger selves. We've all been there, tbh.
Take a look at all the auditions below.
Brb, we're just off to binge watch the whole of Beyond Stranger Things...That's our weekend sorted!
