Nearly 27 years ago the much-loved series Friends first broadcast on NBC. Airing 236 hilarious episodes, fans around the world have been treated to many comedy gems – remember sofa-lifting Ross screaming “Pivot”, or Monica walking around with a turkey on her head?
Since it last aired in 2004, with an estimated 52.5 million people watching, many of us have been itching for a comeback – and, finally, we’re going to get it!
In celebration of the extremely long-overdue news of the reunion, our friends over atLloydsPharmacy have pulled together six products inspired by the Friends cast which, of course, includes addressing Ross’s unforgettable tanning episode…
1) Ross – The ‘Sunkissed’ Tan
As Ross knows, it’s all about the fake tan, though we’d recommend avoiding any automated spray tan booths. Instead, beat the heat outdoors and protect your skin with a high sun protection spray like Solero moisturising sun spray , or if you’re after a more natural-looking tan indoors, try a gradual colour builder, likeNivea Q10 body gradual tan .
2) Rachel – The Sleekest Hair
Let’s face it, if you were a female born in the 80s or 90s you have almost certainly asked your hairdresser for the ‘Rachel’ at least once in your lifetime - no shade! Rachel had the most amazing sleek and shiny hair in all of showbiz. If you fancy taming your mane into a Rachel-esque ‘do try a strengthening shampoo and conditioner like [Hairburst shampoo & conditioner for longer stronger hair {href='https://lloydspharmacy.com/products/hairburst-longer-stronger-hair-shampoo-and-conditioner-350ml' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer'}) and use a hairdryer with ionic technology as it helps smooth the hair, such as theVo5 fast dry 2000W hairdryer .
3) Monica – The ‘At Home’ Spa
Monica, the most ‘homely’ of the gang, would love a relaxing Beurer FB30 foot spa curled up in front of the TV after hosting everyone at her cosy apartment. The nifty thing about this foot spa is it can be folded away for space-saving storage too, appealing to Monica’s super organised nature!
4) Chandler – The Stress-Buster
If, like Chandler, after a long day working hard in the office, you need a moment to unwind, try the heated Beurer shiatsu massage cushion to relax those shoulders, neck, back or legs. Perhaps wait until you’re done crunching those statistics, so you don’t fall asleep, though…!
5) Pheobe – The Angelic (?) Voice
Remember the episode where Phoebe purposely caught a cold so she could have a husky singing voice?
During a pandemic, we definitely won’t be getting close to anyone, but you can sing ‘Smelly Cat’ until your heart’s content providing you have someHalls Soothers to hand, to avoid any dry throat emergencies!
6) Joey – The Foodie
Joey’s beige-coloured diet of pizza, sandwiches and more pizza, suggests he needs some maintenance of a healthy digestive system - so he can feel his best during those many, many romantic dates, of course. Bio-Kult capsules are a probiotic containing live bacteria that can help keep tum troubles at bay when taken daily with food.

What happens in the Friends reunion?
Although the Friends reunion has been given the title The One Where They Get Back Together, the one-off special isn’t actually a new episode. Instead, the cast is coming together to chat about the iconic sitcom and its impact.
A trailer for the reunion shows the actors answering trivia questions about the show as they recreate the episode where Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Chandler and Joey, as well as taking part in a table read.
