From Kim Kardashian taking inspo from The Sims' Grim Reaper to the time Jaden Smith carried his own dreadlocks on the red carpet, the Met Gala is known for being a zillion miles away from us ordinary folk at home.
Especially when our Monday evening consisted of scrolling TikTok for five hours, watching MAFS UK and forgetting to text people back.
However, all is not lost as it turns out you can recreate Gigi Hadid's lash game from home as she opted for a cheap and cheerfulMaybelline mascara for her glam eye make-up.
Gigi gave us noughties nostalgia with her cornflower blue eye shadow and fluttery lashes, created by celebrity makeup artist Erin Parsons.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the trademark purple tube and noticed Erin was using Maybelline’s The Falsies Instant Lash Lift Mascara to create those extra long lashes.
Look, if it's good enough for a supermodel...
You can also snap it up for £6.99 from Boots. An absolute barg, if you ask us.
This isn't the first time Gigi has championed drugstore make-up. In fact, she's also a big fan of Maybelline's Dream Radiant Liquid, calling it 'herfavourite foundation' during a chat with YouTuber James Charles.
"My favourite right now is the Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid. A couple of drops mixes in really well with my moisturiser, but I can also use more, or layer up if I want more full coverage. It feels so smooth and light on the skin," she told him.
The dewy foundation from Maybelline contains hyaluronic acid and collagen, for hydrated and plumped looking skin. It also includes illuminating pigments to give you that lit-within, radiant vibe.
Even James was impressed and said it might just be the best foundation colour match he's ever come across.
Brb, time to glow à la Gigi Hadid.

The Met Gala is known for its outlandish outfits, red carpet controversies and full-watt glam and here are our favourite moments from 2021...
Kim Kardashian's Grim Reaper outfit: at least she's provided inspiration for the masses for when their make-up just won't co-operate?
ASAP Rocky’s mult-coloured quilt: an actual mood for autumn 2021, tbh.
Timothée Chalamet making a case for joggers: the actor paired a tuxedo jacket with er, joggers and Converse high-tops for the red carpet and we're absolutely here for it.
