Cult skincare brand Allies of Skin has launched a new side brand called PSA.

PSA, or Purposeful Skincare by Allies, is AoS's younger sister. It's bright and colourful, it's on sale at ASOS and Look Fantastic and, more importantly, it's hella affordable for what it is.

The brand launched on ASOS this week and retails as low as £28 for a toner which, compared to AoS, is a walk in the park for our bank accounts, frankly.

Granted, PSA isn't offering it's consumers high-street prices BUT there aren't many lactic acid toners for under a tenner (and if there are we definitely want to know about it.) Plus, the packaging on the new PSA range is just gorg.

PSA is targeting a gen-Z-er audience this time around and has said that it's a great range for those just starting out on their skincare journey.

Not to mention, the brand is 100 per cent cruelty free so what a great way to get into skincare 🙌.

To sum up PSA, founder Nicolas Travis told Generation T that, "We want to make skincare easy and fun."

Yaaaas, because who has the time for 12 different creams before bed?

Mmm, we can't get enough Vit C in our skin these days. It's nature's literal answer to sad skin and, with the added Vitamin E here, too, your skin will eat up its collagen boosting (AKA youth boosting) properties. After all, we aren't getting any younger.

6% lactic acid is just the ticket for younger, acne-prone skins. It helps minimise the appearance of pores and the added liquorice root here will calm and sooth any flare ups. We WISH we'd had this when we were younger.

Another one to help combat acne, this potion of glycolic and lactic acids is an exfoliation dream. Wipe away all that dead skin and gunk build up (yuck) and reveal the baby-smooth skin beneath. You'll practically be reborn.

With its aim to help reduce dark spots and fine lines, this is the perfect product for those of us that love the sun a little bit too much in the Summer. So, reverse the effects of sun damage (well, almost) and get this in your basket (maybe, opt for fake tan next year, too...).

Did you know that the PSA range features ingredients that help combat maskne?

Cool, right? We spoke to a dermatologist about the best way to prevent it.

She said that AHAs such as lactic acid, as well are hyaluronic acid are a perfect place to start. So why not start with PSA's Hyaluronic Super Nutrient Hydration Serum or the Mandelic & Licorice Superfood Glow Toner?

Murad Nutrient-Charged Water Gel, 50ml

We have it on good authority from the Closer team that this moisturiser will work wonders. It's super cooling and moisturising, but with its oil-free formula, it's a great choice for oily to combination skin types (say goodbye to unwanted shine ud83dudc4b). To quote one John Lewis shopper, it leaves skin feeling "soft and hydrated." Dreamy.
