Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll ask the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about Sophie Piper, the Love IslandAll Star contestant best known for her 10/10 fashion looks, being refreshingly laid back (a rarity for reality TV!) and being sisters with Rochelle Humes.

Sophie finished the 2024 series in third place with co-star and now boyfriend, Joshua Ritchie. So how are things going for the pair since leaving the villa? Spoiler alert: really great!

"I feel like we prefer being out in the real world, because you can be by yourselves, and there’s so much to do, and you can meet each other’s family and friends," Sophie tells heat. "So yeah, it’s been really nice, and we’re really happy at the moment."

Sophie chats exclusively to heat about her new Georga @ Asda edit, her self-care routine and the wise advice she was given before Love Island All Stars...

On her George at Asda x G21 collection

Sophie has already landed a mega brand deal since leaving Love Island for the second time and it's with George @ Asda x G21. We love to see it. What can we expect from the collection?

"The range is so me. I feel like it’s really nice because there are a lot of products in the range that I love and it’s just so versatile. I can wear it and my mum can wear it, so it's great for different age ranges."

"My favourite pieces are definitely the denim corset, which comes with - well you can buy separately - a nice long denim maxi skirt. I feel like it’s perfect for spring as well at the moment. And there’s some black cargos as well which I love, they’re really comfy."

On self-care

"To be honest, I treat every day like a self-care day! First of all, a bath is a necessity. I absolutely love a bath. I'll sit in there with a face mask, 100%."

"I love the Garnier sheet masks, they’re my go-to, I use them all the time, all the different ones. Then I’m just really good with my skincare, I’ve got a step-by-step that I go through. But if I get extra time, there’ll be ice rollers involved. I love a little bit of skincare."

On skincare

"Luckily throughout my life, my skin’s been good. I mean, obviously, everyone gets the occasional flare-up. I do have eczema as well, so that does sometimes come up on my face. That's why I don’t like using anything too harsh on my face.

"Probably a go-to product that I would recommend to anyone and that’s actually not expensive as well is Weleda Skin Food. It’s such a good moisturiser. You can get a light one and a thick one, I always use the thick one. It honestly keeps my face moisturised throughout the whole day and just feels fresh, it smells fresh, and it’s my favourite!

"I use it every day. but a lot of the girls in the villa were using it before doing their makeup specifically, but I was literally using it morning and night. Weleda Skin Food is the best product to get your money’s worth 100%."

On what she stole from the villa

"I think the main product that we were all using and all stole bucket loads of this product, was the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream! It just smells unreal, and they do the mists as well, and the oil serums for your hair, so I think that was definitely our favourite, for sure."

On make-up for filming

"In the day, I didn’t really wear make-up because it was so hot. But, if I was putting something on it would be Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, all day every day.

"It gives you a nice glow and it’s got nice coverage as well, but I use that before I put my foundation on anyway. In the day I’ll definitely put a couple of swipes on and then just leave it, it’s nice and glowy."

On make-up tips

After getting ready with the girls most nights of Love Island All Stars, did Sophie learn or share any beauty tips?

"The only thing I remember is helping Georgia Steel do her little baby hairs with the Eco Gel. Eco Gel is actually amazing value for your money as well. It’s the best hair gel and I think that’s literally only like £5."

On daily wellness habits

Are there any little habits or routines that ensure Sophie feels her best self?

"I’ve got in the habit of always having lemon and water when I wake up. I’ve heard lots of things about it and it’s meant to be good for you.

"Along with that, I love the Free Soul greens powder that you mix into water because I feel always feel like I get my veg in. I was definitely influenced by @EmTheNutritionist on Instagram."

On wise advice

"I think, obviously going on the show the second time around, all you get told by your friends and family and your support system is ‘just be yourself.’ And I think that’s all you can be. Like, the first time I did it, I was a bit more in myself and I didn’t maybe speak up in certain situations where I could have, and didn’t really back myself.

"But, I think, going into it like at my age now and wanting people to see how I am now, just being yourself is the most important thing, and if anyone’s got anything bad to say about it, then just let them hate, you know?"

On life after Love Island

"I’m really excited for work this year. There are a lot of brands that I’m going to work with that I haven’t worked with before which is really nice. I’ve also been signed to a modelling agency in L.A. so it’d be nice to spend some time over there this year."

Quickfire round:

What show are you currently watching? I'm obsessed with Love is Blind at the moment. The Australian one is hilarious, it is such good TV.

How do you like your cuppa? I love a cup of tea with a tiny bit of oat milk and two sugars.

Go-to loungewear brand? It's got to be George at Asda.

Everyday perfume? Van Cleef's Oud Blanc. It's really nice.

Go-to takeaway order? Probably Chinese. I love duck pancakes, chicken balls and egg fried rice.

Favourite candle? Le Labo Santal, it's unreal.
