If anyone has a stellar beauty recommendation up their sleeve, it's Love Islander turned megastar, Molly-Mae Hague. From gleamin' primers to the exact £13 lipstick she wore for her engagement - when the 24-year-old recommends something, best believe we are taking notes.

In her latest video titled, 'ORGANISING MY LIFE | WARDROBE AND BATHROOM DECLUTTER✨', the star excitedly told her subscribers she had found a dupe for The Dewy Skin Cream from Tatcha, describing it as “not sponsored, but fricking insane” adding, “this is not to say that Tatcha is not incredible because it is, but this is for my girls that want a more affordable product.”

The very dupe that Molls was referring to is the Aveeno Face Calm and Restore Oat Gel Moisturiser which is currently just £7.66 on Amazon.

Like the viral Tatcha Dewy Cream, Aveeno's gel moisturiser is lightweight, fast-absorbing and works hard to quench thirsty skin, leaving you with a spa-like glow and the perfect base for make-up. However, as the original is £68, the Aveeno cream will save you SIXTY BRITISH POUNDS.

But is it actually just as good?

Aveeno Oat Cream vs Tatcha's Dewy Cream:

Tested by shopping editor, Aimee Jakes

When Molly-Mae shared on YouTube that she had found a dupe for Tatcha's Dewy Skin Cream I was extremely excited. I already had the Tatcha cream, but treated her like gold dust and was already dreading the day she ran out.

On first impressions, Aveeno's Calm + Restore Oat Moisturiser is definitely more lightweight, with a gel-like consistency. It's unfragranced (Tatcha's has a faint, almost lavender-like smell) and is very soothing on the skin.

I was very impressed and believe Aveeno's moisturiser is better for sensitive, oily and combination skin types. Just like the Tatcha cream, the formula quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving my complexion soft and very hydrated.

As you'd expect for the price point, the Tatcha Moisturiser has a few more hard-working anti-ageing and brightening ingredients that work to improve your skin over time, but if you're looking for a soft, non-greasy, everyday moisturiser, you will love the Aveeno Calm + Restore.

It's no wonder it's received thousands of five-star reviews online. Check it out here.
