TikTok has introduced plenty of new and fun make-up and skincare trends over the past couple of years - we owe it a lot. Whether it’s contouring your face in certain shapes, giving yourself fake freckles or acne-clearing miracle products, it's a world of DIY wonder that we just love to explore

The latest trend to stop us in our tracks can make any eyeshadow colour or texture into an instant two-in-one graphic eyeliner. You've got to see it to believe it...

Amazed? Yep, us too. Want to recreate it yourself? We tried it out to see if the hype is indeed real. Here's what you need to do:

Firstly, take your favourite micellar water, use any angled or liner brush you have handy and ensure the brush is wet. Dip into any colour of choice to create a paste and get practising. It'll definitely save you the hassle of finding a matching liner to an eyeshadow look, or if you want to switch it up from wearing your usual classic black eyeliner.

I decided to try this hack by using a warm-purple toned shade to enhance the green in my hazel eyes. This technique worked well for me, and it's especially good for when I don’t fancy committing to a colourful eye look, but still want a bit of drama.

What I loved is that it takes less blending, and unlike an eyeliner formula, eyeshadow can be removed easier if you make a tiny mistake as you have micellar water to hand. It's a great hack for those who want to enhance their make-up without feeling too OTT.

So there you have it - easy as can be. Shop everything you need to recreate this look below.

Top tips

• Have some cotton buds handy to avoid any slip-ups. Dip them into micellar water to create sharp lines.

• Use the back of your hand as a palette to mix together your eyeshadow into a paste.

• A setting spray or toner water will also work well to create a bold liner. Simply spritz onto a brush to create a vibrant, yet long-lasting eyeliner.
