Halloween is one of the best times of the year. It's an excuse to have a party, to dress up and to show off our make-up skills.

It's that event when you get out all the make-up you NEVER use because "it will come in handy one day". So rejoice, that blue mascara that you thought was edgy in 2016 will now help create the perfect "witch eyes" look.

Tired eyes just got chic with this make-up look.

Step-by-step:

  1. Using a black gel liner start by creating an exaggerated wing reaching towards the tip of your brow.
  1. Next take a dark red eyeshadow and seep it across the lid pushing colour into the inner corner.
  1. Blend out for a smokey finish taking the same shadow below the lower lash line too.
  1. Apply a pair of full lashes and a little false blood on the lips for a vampire inspired pou

Giving new meaning to winged liner.

Step-by-step:

  1. Start by following the natural shape of the eyelid with a gel liner
  1. Create a wing, carefully expanding to create the jagged edges
  1. Apply electric blue eyeliner below the lash line and use eye lash glue to apply gem stones
  1. Clean up any wobbles with a cotton bud dipped in make-up remover for a sharp look.

A look to really sink your teeth into.

Step-by-step:

  1. Start by overlining your lips using a red lip liner. Then apply a black lipstick to the centre to create the body of the spider.
  1. Apply a red lipstick to the outer edges of your lips – don't worry if the black bleeds into it.
  1. Using a eyeliner pen draw the spider legs.
  1. Finish with a slick of gloss for a bloody finish.

Up the ante on a basic skeleton.

Step-by-step:

  1. Start by tracing the outline of a skull down the nose and mouth with a white eyeliner.
  1. Using black gel liner fill the nose and lips. Extend from the lips upwards following your cheekbones and pull the product up and down to create teeth. Finish with red glitter.
  1. For the eyes blend a yellow shade in the inner corners, then, using a fluffy brush buff deep red across the lid and out.
  1. Finish with full lashes.
