Heinz mayo

So, we’re very much still reeling from the news that Heinz was launching ice cream making kits using some of their most famous sauces (yes, really) but the condiment giant has just delivered another saucy bombshell.

But this one sounds a whole lot more tasty, tbh.

GONE are the days of creating your own aioli from painstakingly crushed garlic and NO MORE will you have to season basic mayo with, say, lemon and pepper.

This month Heinz have launched four new flavours of their famous mayonnaise and we can’t help wondering why this has only just become a thing, tbh.

You can choose from lemon and black pepper, rich and creamy truffle, basil and parmesan and garlic and caramelised onion and honestly somehow they all sound like a match made in heaven, right?

We’d pair the lemon and black pepper with a summer staple like chicken and salad, the basil and parmesan with something carby like pasta or chips, and the truffle one sounds like it was MADE for steak.

Squeeze the garlic and caramelised onions one on anything and everything, tbh, and let the condiments roll in (sorry).

Curious about the aforementioned ice cream kits?

David Chalbert, senior brand manager, spoke about their sauce of inspiration*, saying, “We give you the ultimate summer mash up; Heinz Creamz. A DIY ice cream kit, with an added summery squeeze of one of your favourite Heinz Sauces. So, you needn’t miss out on one of the sauciest of sweet treats (or six!) during a summer of social distancing.

“We know it might seem like a bit of a crazy combo to some – but with Heinz always at the forefront of innovation, anything is possible.”

*sorry again.
