Tell your mates – you can now buy a Tamagotchi on Amazon

Picture this. It’s 2004. You’re in your bedroom, Groovy Chick posters everywhere, and you pull out your Tamagotchi from your school bag (you finally got it back at the end of the day because your teacher caught you playing with it at break). You see the little screen light up. You snack on a Fruit Winder as you take care of your beloved virtual pet. Life is good.

It's 2022 now, you've got a job, maybe a car, and an actual real-life pet. But you feel the hole in your life that your Tamagotchi used to fill. Well, we've got some good news for you.

This slightly dramatic introduction means to say that, thanks to the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Tamagotchi, you can now buy your own to relive your childhood and reunite with your virtual pet once again.

There are a ton of different designs to choose from, so we've listed them all here for you. Browse to your heart's content (Fruit Winders not included). As well as the original design, Tamagotchi has also released a new version of the classic called the Tamagotchi Pix, an even more interactive version with an in-built camera. There's a new generation of Tamagotchi on the block and it's a worthy opponent to the OG. The Tamagotchi Pix comes with a bunch of new features, including new games, new customisation options, and oh...a camera?! Yes, you heard that right, a camera. Aaaand you can connect to your friends' Tamagotchi and they can have a lil' play date. Parenting is so fun when your child is a Tamagotchi.

It comes in a few different colours and is a little more pricey than the Generation One version which we grew up with, but bearing in mind all the new features you get to play with, it's worth the price.
