Gemma is a Fitness, Fashion & Wellness Products Writer at Bauer Media. She writes for brands such as heat, Closer and What’s The Best, specialising in all things health and fitness.
Gemma graduated from the University of Leeds with a First-Class degree in BA Journalism. While at University she was a weekly fashion and lifestyle writer for the uni newspaper, The Gryphon. Since graduating, she has focused on gaining experience in a variety of industries from marketing to social media and content writing. Gemma has also produced online content for a London-based jewellery company and a luxury second-hand handbag and watch brand.
She’s also been an avid blogger since 2017, writing lifestyle articles for her own website, covering a range of topics, from sustainable fashion to the battle of gold and silver jewellery.
When Gemma’s not writing, she can be found attending Pilates, yoga and Zumba classes. Her next mission – to join a Reformer Pilates class. She’s also a bit of a home workout aficionado, constantly trying out new ways to keep her moving at home.
Between exercising, shopping (she’s a savvy deal-hunter) and learning Polish, there’s nothing she loves more than hopping on a plane and exploring new cultures. Some of her favourite places she’s been to are Dubrovnik, Milan and Los Angeles (yes, she did attend the celeb-fave, SoulCycle, while she was there).
