We waited 18 years for this moment, and, boy, was it worth every second. Last week, walking-nostalgia couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck hit the red carpet for their first public appearance since they reunited – and we couldn’t help noticing how bride-and-groomy they looked in their black-and-white formal wear.
But wait, there’s more! Because insiders tell heat we’ll be getting a real-life wedding from these two in the not-too-distant future. In fact, they’re already making plans for a £60million extravaganza.
“Ben and Jen are totally on the same page about getting married – and they want the wedding to be a real showstopper,” says an insider close to the pair, who originally dated for a year-and- a-half back in 2002, getting engaged with a 6.1-carat Harry Winston pink diamond ring.
“They’ve both said they want no expense spared and are looking at a six-day party. It will have everything: an A-list guest list with all their friends, and loved ones, including Matt Damon and Ellen DeGeneres. There will be performances from the likes of Mary J Blige, who they’ve asked to sing Jen down the aisle. And, of course, there will also be a sky-high budget for food, drink and flowers. Oprah has even offered her estate in Montecito as a venue.”

Why Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn is BANNED from Heather Rae Young's wedding
As heat has already told you (in shrieky, excitable tones), the pair resumed their relationship back in April, after Jen’s split from her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez. She and Ben have celebrated their reunion with a series of PDA-packed trips, including an epic holiday to the south of France on a super-yacht. And now they’re looking at houses to buy together – which could also serve as the perfect space for their big day.
Our insider adds, “Jen says, as well as Oprah’s house, they’re considering several multi-million dollar venues, like the Getty Villa in Malibu. But they’ve also said they would happily have it at home. They’ve had their eye on an $85m property in LA and they want to get the deal done as soon as possible. Jen has three wedding planners coming up with ideas and working on the logistics of it all, and she’s already having dress fittings.
