For most young couples looking for their first home together, they’d be thrilled if they got a one-bedroom flat, but then, most young couples aren’t Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. The loved-up pair have recently splashed out $10.5million on a five-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion, which comes with its own gym, sauna, outdoor infinity pool, massage rooms and even a juice bar.

The property boasts impressive views over LA and also has a private yoga studio, barbecue area and large outdoor baths. Twenty-two-year-old Brooklyn – David and Victoria’s eldest son – and aspiring actress and director Nicola, 26, who is the daughter of US billionaire Nelson Peltz, got engaged last year and have been looking for a home together after splitting their time between the Beckhams’ homes in the UK and staying in Miami, New York and LA. But now, Nicola is keen to settle down and have a base where they can become their own little family.

“They’ve lived it up this past year after getting engaged, and money isn’t a problem for them, even during the pandemic,” our source explains.

“Having never really lived on his own, apart from a few weeks when he was at university in New York, Brooklyn was happy being a nomad, but Nicola wants to settle down a bit and focus on her career. As much fun as the past year has been, her big priority now is making a name for herself as an actress/producer/director and getting taken seriously in Hollywood. She has big ambitions and is also getting a little bored of the free-spirited lifestyle. She’s also keen for Brooklyn to focus on his career and work on his photography, so she thinks settling in one place is a good move to encourage that.”

Due to the pandemic, Brooklyn and Nicola – who has just finished directing her first movie – have had to postpone their wedding, so finding a home together has been their priority. While they have both had success in their careers and have big followings on social media, they realise that a property like this would be out of reach for them at the moment and that they are very fortunate to have successful and generous parents.

“Nicola’s always had a place in LA – although nothing like this – and this is her way of saying she’s serious about settling there and making this their prime home as they focus on making a future,” we’re told.

“Nicola’s dad helped them out a lot and said that she could have what she wanted and to think of it as an early wedding present. Now, Nicola plans on living the life to match it. She adores Brooklyn, but she’s aware how young he is and that he’s never really had to stand on his own two feet before – she’s making it very clear that she has ambitions and expectations of him, and that this is a new start for them.”
