Cole Sprouse’s career: From The Suite Life to Riverdale

Cole Sprouse has done quite a lot hasn't he? His first ever job was appearing in Grace Under Fire, (where he was still in a nappy), then, he was Ross Geller's son, Ben, in Friends, and of course, his appearance with brother, Dylan, in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Despite taking a break from acting for a few years, the 26-year-old made his grand return in 2016, and boy are we glad he did!

So, we've done you all a favour and gathered together some of the highlights of this hottie's blossoming career - from acting alongside his twin brother in big hit productions such as Big Daddy and Friends, to branching out on his own on popular CW show Riverdale.

Expect to see some dashing outfits, and impressive hair-cuts.

1993 - Grace Under Fire

Born on 4th August 1992, it wasn't long before Cole and Dylan landed themselves their first job, appearing in 1993's Grace Under Fire as baby Patrick Kelly. The boys continued in this role for five years, departing the show in 1998.

1999 - Big Daddy

1999 proved a big year for Cole, and his brother Dylan, as the twins landed a major role in hit film Big Daddy. The boys played the adorable Julian 'Frankenstein' McGrath alongside actor/comedian Adam Sandler. SO cute.

2000 - Friends

A year has passed since the adorable duo took to the big screens, and they wasted no time finding themselves their next gig. In 2000, we saw the boys star as Ross Geller's son Ben, in award-winning sitcom Friends.

2001 - That 70's Show

Whilst frequently appearing on Friends from 2000 - 2002, the boys appeared together on popular American sitcom That 70's Show in 2001, alongside superstar Ashton Kutcher. Although their appearance was brief, we definitely won't forget those hair-styles.

2002 - Eight Crazy Nights

It's 2002 and the boys are trying their hand at the voice-over game alongside old friend Adam Sandler. 10-years-old and killing it.

2002 - I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

2002 also saw the Sprouse twins star in family comedy I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, starring alongside Connie Sellecca and Corbin Bernsen.

2005 - The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

2005 was definitely a year to remember, as we welcomed Cody Martin to our screens (and Zack, of course). Airing on Disney Channel in March 2005, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody became the most successful premiere for the channel. With over four million viewers, the show definitely catapulted these young actors into stardom. The show ran from 2005 - 2008.

2008 - Disney

Now joining the Disney hall of fame, the boys were opened up to a world of opportunities with fellow Disney stars, ie. the likes of Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, Zac Efron, The Jonas Brothers... need we go on? In 2008 we saw a collection of Disney stars compete in games against one another, aptly named the Disney Channel Games.

2008 - The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

By the year 2008, Zack and Cody Martin were taking the world by storm. Despite the show finishing in 2008, this didn't stop the boys appearing in various spin-off's involving other Disney classics. These included appearances in Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana and That's So Raven.

2008 - The Suite Life On Deck

We thought it was all over... we thought wrong. With The Suite Life of Zack and Cody wrapping up in 2008, we quickly saw the boys' return on The Suite Life On Deck - a quirky spin on the original show, seeing the boys attend high school on a cruise ship. You know, the usual. The show lasted from 2008 - 2011.

2011 - 2015 - New York University

2011 saw Cole took a break from the acting world, and whispy blond hair-dos, to focus on his education, enrolling at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and pursuing Humanities and Archaeology. He then graduated alongside his brother Dylan in May 2015.

2016 - Jughead Jones

After his acting hiatus, Cole returned in 2016 to steal the hearts of millions of teenagers, starring in CW teen drama Riverdale as the mysterious Jughead Jones. Sporting a dramatically different hairstyle, Cole stars alongside KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes, with the show continuing into 2019.

2019 - Five Feet Apart

March 2019 saw the release of romance film Five Feet Apart, starring Cole alongside Haley Lu Richardson and Moisés Arias.
