Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford become a dad last September when his now-wife Paige Yeomans gave birth to a baby boy.

Pete casually announced he was going to become a father back in April 2021 in a sweet scene on the Channel 4 show with his sister Sophie when he showed her a baby scan photo. After Sophie asked whether the baby might look like their family, Pete jokingly replied, "No, it’s going to be good looking. Hopefully it looks like Paige. Innit mad? I am actually going to be a dad to somebody."

And at while appearing on the red carpet at the National Television Awards in September, Pete let slip that his son had arrived as he opened up about life as a new dad.

He told the Mirror, "It's a bit overwhelming, got it all going on at the moment!"

Revealing the gender of the newborn, he continued, "He's a cool little lad, takes after his mum not me!"

He added, "I’ve been up all night, I slept on the train here - got suitcases under my eyes, you just got me at a good time now."

Speaking backstage at the awards bash after Gogglebox picked up a gong for Best Factual Show, Pete's sister Sophie revealed how she was enjoying life as an auntie.

She said, "I’m a very proud auntie.

“I’m obsessed with him. I just keep saying, 'Can I hold him? Can I feed him?'"

What is Pete Sandiford's son's name?

Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford's son is called Jimmy, as revealed in November when Pete shared an adorable father and son snap as he celebrated his 27th birthday. In the sweet snap, Pete laughed as Jimmy - who was dressed in a cute lion onesie - looked on crying.

Pete posted the picture with the caption, "Jimmy wishing his daddy a happy birthday 🥳 @paigesandiford_ @sophiesandiford1."

Among the commenters was Pete's famous uncle Paul Chuckle who wrote, "Fancy frightening little Jimmy on your birthday 🤣 ... Happy birthday mate have a good un 🎂 x."

When was Pete Sandiford's son born?

Pete's son Jimmy was born in September 2021 and got introduced to the world during an episode of Gogglebox later that month as Pete and his sister Sophie doted on the newborn.

Reacting to the sweet scenes, one viewer tweeted, "Omg Pete and his baby my heart!!!" Another added, "Oh Pete mate! What a great start to a new #Gogglebox series. Your boy is a smasher."

Is Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford married?

Pete is married to long-term partner and mother of his son Jimmy, Paige, after they tied the knot last year in a secret ceremony. Pete and Paige got married on 22 May 2021 but didn't share the news until six months later when they shared a series of wedding snaps on Instagram.

Alongside a picture of him and Paige walking along the seafront hand in hand, Pete wrote, "Happy 6 month wedding anniversary to my best mate, wife and the best mummy in the world @paigesandiford_." Meanwhile, Paige shared a photo of her own with the caption, "22.05.21 When your best friend doubles up as the best husband ♥️."

Pete first revealed he was getting married during an episode of Gogglebox in February 2021 during a sweet conversation with his sister Sophie when she asked, "Do you feel any different now you're engaged?”

He replied, "Yeah, I feel like I've got an even bigger sense of responsibility,” to which Sophie remarked, “Yeah, because you're going to have a wife!”

And when talk turned to who would be best man at the ceremony, Pete said, "It's going to be best wo-man isn't it? Going to be you.” Talk about sibling goals.
