We thought Charlotte Crosby had finally found the one when she uprooted from Newcastle to live with boyfriend of two years Joshua Ritchie in Bolton but sadly it wasn’t to be, and they split at the end of last year amid rumours he wasn’t ready to settle down.
Things soon turned nasty between the pair after Josh’s mum liked a tweet branding the former Geordie Shore star a “psycho” and he threatened to reveal the “real reason” behind their breakup after being trolled online by her fans.
It doesn’t look like they’re ready to make amends quite yet either as Josh joins the cast of Celebs Go Dating alongside Love Island’s Amy Hart, TOWIE star James Lock and daytime telly legend Alison Hammond.
After making his debut appearance on the show, Josh appeared to make a dig at his past romance in a spin-off interview with former dating agency clients Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson posted to the show’s IGTV.
When asked what he’s learned during his time on the show, he replied, “When I used to go out on dates with girls, I just used to sleep with them straight after it.
"Now, I want the chase, I don’t want them to just put out straight away.”

It didn’t go unnoticed by Charlotte, who shared a furious tweet in the wake of the interview, writing, “Using my name for CLICKBAIT 🤣😂👏🏼.”
She later liked a tweet from a fan calling out Josh, which read, “Omg I can’t believe @ritchie_joshua is on @CelebsGoDating two weeks after breaking up with @Charlottegshore. That is just muggy!”

Charlotte announced her split from Josh in November in a statement on her Instagram story, writing, “Me and Josh have decided to part ways. Sadly the relationship seems to have broken down.
"Hoping we can still remain civil and wish him the best for the future."
Hmm, we guess that civil part has gone out the window now?
A "friend" of the MTV couple later revealed to new! magazine, "For a while Charlotte has wanted to get married and have kids, but Josh, being younger, doesn't have any interest in settling down. They both want completely different things because they're at different stages in their lives."
