Lewis Capaldi’s ex-girlfriend ‘signs up for Love Island’

With the winter version of Love Island set to start in T -six days, rumours abound with who is entering the South African Villa.

And now one more name has been thrown into the mix - Paige Turley, the ex-girlfriend of Lewis Capaldi who inspired his No1 ballad Someone You Loved.

A source told The Sun, “Paige is looking for love, and so when the team from Love Island approached her, she decided to take up the opportunity.

“Thanks to Lewis’s music, her relationship past has won her an awful lot of attention. So now she wants her relationship present to be in the spotlight.

“She is very excited about Love Island and is hoping she’ll find her perfect man.”

Lewis has previously spoken publicly about his relationship with Paige, who he dated from 2014 to 2016.

In an interview with the same publication, he confessed, “I met a lady. She was very nice. I loved her. I loved the look of her and I loved how she spoke.

“We dated for a year and a half, then she left me. Then I wrote an album about it and I still think about it every day.”

Well, it may have been heartbreaking but it's made him loads of cash so quids in.

But if Paige does appear on the show, she won't be the only single with a famous link.

Rochelle Humes' younger sister Sophie Piper is reportedly set to make an appearance, after deciding not to feature on the 2019 series.

Another name that has also been linked to the show is TOWIE star Pick Wicks' friend Alisha LeMay.

The 28-year-old, who already has over 100,000 Instagram followers, allegedly caught producers' attention because she's "not afraid to be herself."

A TV insider told the Daily Mail, "She already works as an influencer and has collaborated with brands like Pretty Little Thing, Missguided and ASOS, which all becomes part and parcel of being a Love Island star."

The source added, "She's an advocate of body positivity and often admits on her Instagram to never wanting to be perfect, which is an important message to young viewers of the show too."
