Good news, folks: the new series of Love Island is just weeks away. That’s right, it won’t be long before the next batch of singletons are entering the villa for a summer of cracking on and coupling up so, ahead of series seven of the ITV2 dating show, we thought we’d chat to some of our fave ex-Islanders about what life after the show is like.
In fact, Megan revealed which Islander pied her off after she slid into their DMs. Awks…
When asked which of her fellow Islanders she would like to couple up with, Meg admitted she had her eye on none other than Maura Higgins.
“I think she’s stunning. She’s a powerful, strong woman, but I don’t know if she’s bi. Hopefully one day,” she told us.
Jack then told Megan he’d “put in a good word” for her, to which she revealed she’d already tried (and failed) to crack on with Maura.

Paige Turley and Finn Tapp: TOGETHER
They made their romance official within the Love Island villa, and 2020 winners Paige and Finn are still going strong back in the UK!
“I’ve slid in her DMs and got nothing,” Megan laughed.
“I just sent an emoji, just dipping the toe in and I got absolutely aired.”
Don’t worry Megs, we’ve all been there.

And if Maura’s not interested, Jack said he would be Megan’s “back-up”. Aww.
The Love Island 2018 winner said, “I would say [I’d couple up with] Megan. We’ve been out loads of time after and you actually are on a level. We have a laugh so I’d probably say you because you’re fun.
“Also, I spent so much time with the person I was coupled up with that I didn’t really get to know [anyone else]. Whereas, we actually did have a good conversation and a laugh. We’ve got quite a lot of common interests.”
Hmm, we wonder what a certain Ms Frankie Sims would have to say about that?
