The next series ofBridgerton finally lands on Netflix in March (eight new episodes will drop on the 25th of the month) and fans can't wait for some Regency period escapism.

The second series of the show will see Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his new love interest and leading lady Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) take the reigns, after the Duke and Duchess of Hastings (Simon and Daphne aka Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor) finally got their happy ever after in season one.

As interest around Simone Ashley has gone through the roof, so have searches for her photos of her in the nude. It's a sad and predictable trend that has seemed to gained traction the past few years, as the emergence of social media sites have opened up access to celebrities' private photos.

This week searches for nude content of Simone, 26, have skyrocketed on sites like Google and Twitter.

Even though no such pictures have emerged (why would we look? Why would YOU look?), the searches completely infringe Simone’s privacy and hinders her from taking full ownership of both her public and private life.

In a new interview, actor Jonathan Bailey opened up about the 'hilarious' sex scenes that himself and Simone had to film, and even though sex is a HUGE theme of Bridgerton, is it really necessary to sexualise and exploit the actors that play the characters?

You may have seen Simone is Sex Education too, another Netflix series that is centred around teenagers discovering sex (one of the main characters is a sex therapist) and she has been extremely open in the past when it comes to sex scenes, although she never appears nude. Speaking about feeling body confident, Simone recently admitted that she didn't feel 'apprehensive about filming' sexy scenes in Bridgerton, telling Radio Times, "I wasn't apprehensive. I've always been really confident in my sexuality and in my body.

"Like most teenage girls, there were years where I was insecure and in my head about myself, but I've learnt to really have fun with it, enjoy myself and love myself more."

Simone's words are inspiring, and reason enough alone not to engage in anything other than images and scenes that she has consensually shared herself.
