For the uninformed, Bridgerton follows the lives of London's high society ladies and gents as they enter the social season. If period dramas aren't your thing, then it might sound a little dull but please hear us out, because Bridgerton is as far away from your Downton-style drama (though, we do love a bit of Downton) as a period drama can get.

We're talking Gossip Girl-style bitching, raunchy sex scenes (do not watch it with your parents, whatever you do), a string quartet edition of Thank U, Next - seriously, this show has it all.

Plus, even if all of that can't tempt you, you should watch it for the sheer extravagance of the hair styles.

From sky-high up 'dos to perfectly pinned curls, these ladies have evoked hair envy in a way we've never experienced before. Honestly, we never knew we wanted our hair curled with a "circlet of jewels and flowers," until we saw Daphne in that jaw-dropping white dress at the ball (episode three, FYI).

Now, we might not have a lady's maid to style our tresses into an elaborate do, but we do have it on good authority that the Bridgerton cast use a high-street hair conditioning mask and, well, we're stocking up.

Yep, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, the show's hair and make-up designer, Marc Pilcher, revealed that he sent all the girls home with a conditioning mask so that their hair was "beautiful to work with" the next day.

"The cast loved using HASK conditioning masks. We would send them home with a mask that suited their hair for a weekend of pampering. We used them on the wigs and hair pieces as well as the actors' hair," he said.
