When Celebrity Big Brother returned to our screens earlier this year, it introduced David Potts to the wider world in all his trouserless glory – but, if you’re as obsessed with reality TV as we are, then you’ll probably have already been well-acquainted with David for years thanks to his role as head rep on The Ibiza Weekender.
David appeared on the ITV2 show between 2016 and 2023 alongside fellow reps Jordan Davies and Callum Izzard and even worked with Love Island’s Chyna Ellis and Rykard Jenkins when they appeared as reps.
The show came to an end last year but it turns out that David is still as close as ever with his former colleagues and he’s even teased a reunion.
“There is a good few of us that are still in contact. We’ve still got a group chat but I'm obviously very close with Ellie – who I did the first and second series with - I mean she’s my best friend still,” David exclusively told heat.
“I'm still really close with Tash, Jordan, Callum and Isabelle and they all came to my surprise party, which was absolutely lovely. It was so much fun.”
As for a potential reunion, David said, “I would absolutely love that. Weekender has always got a very, very special place in my heart. And I mean, I would absolutely love to do that. We'll just have to wait and see.
“I would always find time for Ibiza Weekender.”
David is currently working with Burger King UK to search for the nation’s best ‘Foodfilment Faces’ and revealed he’d been “very well fed” throughout the process.
“It's been so much fun. I've been working alongside Burger King UK to find the nation's best foodfilment face, which is all about that warm, fuzzy feeling you experience when that meal just hits the spot. I mean, Burger King burgers are absolutely sensational,” he explained.
Burger King UK has announced it is on the search for the nation’s best ‘Foodfillment Faces’ and has enlisted the help of TV personality, David Potts who will host an open casting at Burger King Leicester Square on 22 May 2024 (2-5pm). The best ‘Foodfillment Faces’ will secure a year’s worth of free Whopper® burgers. ‘Foodfillment’ is that warm, fuzzy feeling that you get when your Burger King UK meal is really hitting the spot.
