We never thought we’d see the day Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts lived in a house with X Factor icons Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, as well as Ekin-Su and, err, Kate Middleton’s uncle, but that exactly what happened when they all took part in the latest celebrity edition of Big Brother earlier this year.

Despite the fact he did no cooking and cleaning in the house, Louis actually got on with his housemates (for the most part) and even promised to share his phone number them when they were all back in the outside world.

However, Louis later revealed that he HADN’T given David his number and added, “He's a nice guy but he sings too much.”

David’s now had his say on the whole thing and revealed how he really feels about Louis after their two-and-a-half week houseshare.

“We'd take the mick out of each other. It was all very nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

“He wanted to play that panto villain. We’d just wind each other up, but it always came from a good place. And let me tell you, Louis is a massive softie at heart,” he told new! magazine.

David, who beat Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin to be crowned the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 winner, then revealed it was actually him who hadn’t given Louis his number and not the other way around. The plot thickens…

“Actually, it's me that's not given him mine yet because I don’t want him mithering me,” the reality star explained.

David went on to say that most of the housemates keep in touch in a group chat, however Louis isn’t a member of the group.

On the other hand, one former housemate that David is still close with is daytime TV legend Fern Britton. They’re so close, in fact, that David’s even teased they could look for love together.

He said, “Look, she's single, I'm single – we can get on a double date in Cornwall [where Fern lives]. I think I need to give Cornwall a go for the men because I've run out in Bolton. There's nobody here for me!”
