Big Brother is officially back on our screens and, frankly, we couldn’t be happier about it. Yes, we’re obsessed with Love Island and Married At First Sight has got us hooked too, but there’s just something special about the original iconic reality show.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best welcomed 16 new housemates into the house on Sunday 6 October and we’re still sussing them out, although we do have a couple of early faves like Hanah Haji and Khaled Khaled.
We’re yet to see much drama, although Lily Benson has been riling up a few housemates with her excitable behaviour. Rapper Marcello Spooks has also caused a bit of controversy with viewers after claiming that he was ‘probably going to lips’ Ali Bromley, despite the fact she’s gay and has a girlfriend.
Still, it’s early days and we have a feeling that Marcello could win us all over. He described himself as ‘cheeky’ and ‘sarcastic but also loving’ before entering the house, so more of that and less of the creepy comments please, Marcello.

On the first night, Big Brother made the housemates choose the red team or the blue team and Marcello chose red. It turned out to be the wrong decision, however, as the reds were told they were non-housemates and had to live in BB's 'storage' room. As if that wasn't bad enough, they all faced the public vote in the first eviction too.
