Our good friend, Love Island legend Olivia Attwood records her podcast down the hall from us in our swanky AF London office once a week these days, so you'd think we'd have heard her best showbiz stories by now.
Wrong. The Love Island 2017 queen ALWAYS has an unheard story or two ready to share each and every week with her listeners and every week it FLOORS us.
And once again, we can't believe what we're hearing on the latest episode of her So Wrong It's Right podcast. To be fair, she's been in the industry for over seven years now and literally knows EVERYONE, so IMAGINE the tales she's saving for a rainy day.
In the week's episode, Liv invited her husband Bradley Dack on to the sofa for a chit chat, and of course, the story of how they met back in 2016 got brought up (calm down, Love Island obsessive fan, she dated him for a few months before her Love Island stint and then rekindled things soon after she split with Chris Hughes in 2018).
Anyway, it turns out that while we already know that the couple met one night through mutual friends in the West End in 2016, we had not clue that one of those mutual friends was a Celebrity Big Brother star.
Yep, according to the couple, they were introduced by their mutual friend, football manager and former footballer, Jamie O'Hara. Don't worry, that means nothing to us, too, so let's try this bio: he starred on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 (Celebrity Big Brother: All-Stars and New Stars) and was iconically called a "chicken-livered bugger" and an "adulterer" by the incomparable Kim Woodburn, and of course, hooked up with Bianca Gascoigne in the house (who was lying about having a boyfriend on the outside).
Yeah, that guy.
Olivia told her listeners, "We go back to 2016; I was a Monster gal, traveling the world in my bikini - at the racetracks, living my best life. Brad was obviously playing football for Gillingham.
She continued, "And we had a mutual friend that was Jamie O'Hara because at the time he was playing for Gillingham. And he said, 'Liv, you've got to meet this guy.' He's like, I can't remember exactly how he described you, but I think he was like, 'He's just so funny, like he's proper talented, up and coming.'
"And he was like, giving me your sort of career prospects, and I was like, right, relax."
Iconic.
Liv continued (and we're so glad she did), "And then you met me, you pinched my arse. We had a night out together. We basically joined your table. We had a night out. The night went on. You came back to the hotel and slept over with me and my friend, but nothing happened. That's Bible truth because I made him sleep on the settee.
"I think I had a boyfriend at the time, so I had no business even letting you stay back. But I'm not saying that's the right thing to do, but obviously I wasn't terribly dedicated. But I made you sleep on the sofa, so that I kind of half felt like I was doing the right thing."
Never change, Liv. Never. Also, do you want anything from Starbucks? We're doing a run.
Jamie – who was once married to Danielle Lloyd – appeared on Celebrity Big Brother alongside the likes of Kim Woodburn (obv), Chloe Ferry, Jedward, Bianca Gascoigne, Calum Best, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag (yep) and Coleen Nolan. What a time.
