His first shot at love (and fame) in 2019 saw Anton Danyluk finish in 5th place with Belle Hassan, back on season 5 of Love Island.

However, his much-anticipated return to the villa for the All Stars series saw some fans just about as excited as Anton getting to see Craig David. In other words… very, very excited. Although he still came fifth this time around, he seems smitten with the gorgeous Georgia Harrison and the pair have since proved to the outside world that their romance is still going strong.

Before returning to our TV screens, the fitness fanatic had previously called the decision to appear on All Stars a “no-brainer” and said how “getting the chance to do it twice is going to be unbelievable.”

However, this clearly wasn’t the star’s outlook for long. Uh oh.

Anton, ever the open book, has now revealed his regrets on returning to the villa on the podcast he shares with his mum, which is hilariously named, What’s the Crack? You know, because his mum shaves his bum.

During a TikTok snippet from the pod, the Islander explained how he felt in the villa this time around and shared, “I hated every minute of it. Part of me wishes I had never done it again because it kind of ruined my Love Island experience. I just felt too old for it, that’s the only way I can describe it.”

Poor Anton.

He continued, “I think it’s because I had such high expectations of Love Island.

“Like, for me, Love Island was always the peak in my life, something when you look back and go ‘they were the days, like that was the best time of my life.’ So when you know that you are going back on it, you’ve got that same expectation that it’s going to be amazing, but it just wasn’t the same."

“There were times where I just questioned ‘What am I actually doing?’ The games that you do in there, the challenges, like Truth or Dare, I’m nearly 30!”

Anton has regularly defended his relationship with Georgia on social media after they faced accusations it was "one sided".

“FYI, it’s going well” was one recent caption the pair used on Instagram to keep the haters at bay.
The doubts were circling social media even before the couple left South Africa, with comments saying the relationship was “all for the cameras.”

However, the pair are quite clearly still loved-up and fans are totally here for the romance. No matter what, we are rooting for true love all the way.
