The latest series of Love Island maybe coming to an end very very shortly (like a matter of days shortly), but that doesn’t mean that the drama is stopping anytime soon.
Viewers have watched Joey Essex and his sweet salesman sidekick Sean Stone cause absolute chaos in the last week and it’s fair to say that one recently dumped Love Island 2024 star has had enough as they’ve called out the pair in a new interview.
Blade Siddiqi, the Casa Amor bombshell who Grace Jackson brought back from the second villa, has branded Sean and Joey “strategic” and even suggested they could be faking their friendship.
Discussing whether any of the Islanders were being tactical during an appearance on FUBAR’s Access All Areas, Blade said, “It's not Joey's first rodeo is it? So, I feel he does know how to cause a stir and how to ignite a few different conversations that might rub people a certain way.
“On that same note, Sean has become very outspoken since Casa Amor and he had said near the beginning of the series 'I'm not being myself; I want to speak out more, but I haven't really done that'. So, you could almost say that Sean's saying a few strategic things here and there.”
Blade went on to say that Sean and Joey’s friendship might not be as genuine as it looks as he continued, “Joey is of course a very strong character so strategically for Sean it probably seems like it's in his favour to become close with Joey and stick by his side.
“Joey and Sean have definitely ruffled a few feathers maybe strategically."
Blade butted heads with Joey during his time in the villa when comments the bombshell made about the TOWIE legend came to light during the Love Island Film Festival.
A video showing Blade questioning Joey’s intelligence and commenting that he wasn’t “the sharpest tool in the box” was played to the villa, which left Joey fuming.
“You might beat me in an English exam but you ain't never beating me in anything else, mate,” Joey said in the Beach Hut.
Blade was one of six boys who entered Casa Amor as a bombshell and he immediately turned the girls’ heads (probably because he’s so tall).
The butler in the buff immediately began charming Grace, but he had competition from Moziah Pinder. Ultimately though, Grace chose to recouple with Blade and brough him back to the main villa.
But things quickly fizzled out and Blade was dumped from the villa not long after Grace called time on their romance.
