In recent news it has come to light that one of the Love Island 2019 stars will be joining Hollyoaks as a former character returns to the show for the first time since 2012.
It has been revealed that Curtis Pritchard and his former Strictly professional brother, AJ Pritchard, will be joining the soap in the coming weeks.
Speaking about the new venture for the boys, it was reported that, "It was an idea mooted a little while ago and both parties seemed keen, so they’ve made it happen."

On the show, the brothers will be playing twins as they launch a dance school with returning character Trish Minniver, who will be played by Loose Women's Denise Welch.
Talking to The Sun, the insider revealed that, "AJ and Curtis are thick as thieves, and look identical, so playing a pair of twin brothers will be no issue at all.
"They hope it’ll show a different side of them to one viewers of Strictly and Love Island have seen already."
AJ has already filmed some of his scenes for the show, while Curtis, 25, will be doing his part in the coming days, the publication claimed.
When asked about the opportunity, AJ said, "I can’t believe we will be featuring on Hollyoaks, we have grown up with the show on TV and it’s always been one of our favourite serial dramas.
"Our characters are fantastic, and we can’t wait for everyone to see how we bring them to life."
Mimicking his older brother, Curtis announced the pair's new career jump on his Instagram, writing, "Acting is something I’ve always wanted to do ever since I can remember. Its one of them career paths that you dream of but never actually think it will happen.
"Turns out it’s starting to happen."
Fans were thrilled to hear the news, and took to the comments section to let the reality star know.
"👏👏👏👏 That’s sooooo cool ❤️," wrote one.

Curtis is currently starring in Channel 4's Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion. He was recently slammed by fans for "leading [his] date on like Amy Hart" after he kissed singleton Kesia while simultaneously telling dating gurus Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson that he wasn't sexually attracted to her.
Taking to social media to comment on Curtis' behaviour, one fan tweeted, "Curtis has basically led Kesia on like how he led Amy on during Love Island. What an idiot!"
"Kesia is the new Amy Hart 😔😔," added another.
