One of the few platonic Love Island: All Stars relationships we obsessed over this year was Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Luca Bish's friendship.
It was giving Ryan and Sharpay meets Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian circa 2010 and we were obv here for all the ups and downs that came with that kind of relationship.

The Islanders first met in the Love Island 2022 villa and since leaving the show have formed a solid friendship, with Ekin-Su saying time and time again that she feels protective over Luca, seeing him as her little brother.
This was made even more apparent when they reunited on Love island: All Stars 2025 earlier this year, with Ekin-Su giving us all those overprotective older sisterly vibes as her 'little brother' navigated the trials and tribulations of Love Island.

While this was, on the whole, pretty adorable, Ekin-Su did raise a few eyebrows when she started to question Luca's relationship with Grace Jackson, and then encouraged him to get to know Samie Elishi when she bombshelled in and showed interest in the Brighton boy.
Samie's Love Island journey only lasted a few days (after Luca eventually shut things down with her) and Grace and Luca made it all the way to the final, as did Ekin-Su and her Curtis Pritchard.
Generally, we just got the vibe that Ekin-Su wasn't that keen on Grace and Luca as a couple while in the villa, so when she and Curtis paid us a visit at heat Towers this week, we simply had to get the real tea. How did Ekin feel about her 'brother's' new relationship now the show has wrapped? How does she really feel about Grace? Does she see the relationship working IRL?

In between tonguing Curtis' face off in our studio (no, really), Ekin-Su spilled the tea.
Actually, no she didn't. Her answer was a a little on the PR side for our liking.
She said, 'Especially for Luca, watching him find love again...seeing him get emotional at the start really did hurt me. I do adore Luca and I think people don't see that we do have that brotherly/sisterly friendship, even before [All Stars] we've been in contact, we FaceTime and I do adore him and I love his family. It was just nice to see someone walk in for him, you know? So, I do want them to last and I do want them happy. Lovely boy.'

Distinct lack of the name 'Grace' in that statement, though. Hmm.
