You won't be surprised to know that the heat team keeps a VERY close eye on Love Island's official Instagram, as well as the accounts of our superstar Islanders. Considering we write about 3,500 Love Island stories a day over the summer, social media is an elite way of keeping ahead of all the goss and getting that real timely scalding tea.
We obsess so you don't have to.

We recently invited Love Island 2025 star Emily Moran over to heat Towers for an interview following her brutal dumping, so naturally, we toddled on over to social media to check her recent posts and anything posted about her on the official Instagram account to ensure our questions were extra hot.
After a few minutes of scrolling, we noticed that virtually EVERY Welsh Islander to ever appear on the show has been showing their support for Em over the last few weeks; the likes of Nicole Samuel, Liam Llewellyn and Ciaran Davies have all done posts about our Emily or left supportive comments.

But this sleuthing resulted in some even hotter tea...
When we asked Emily about the support she had received from these past Islanders, she revealed that she is also very close to another Welsh Islander (and Love Island winner) – Love Island 2021's Liam Reardon. And this is TEA.
Emily exclusively revealed to heatworld that she has known the Love Island 2021 victor for 'years and years' and that she's 'really close friends with his friends'. It seems they're also partial to pulling each other for chats when they're at home, too...

She revealed, 'So, Liam, I have known for years and years. He's, like, a year older than me. I'm really close friends with his friends. And, yeah, we've just always known each other, always looked out for each other, always supported each other. We went to the same gym. He'd always come over. We'd have a chat.'
But fret not, there's nothing untoward going on here. Emily was quick to stress that they're 'literally just friends', which is a good thing considering Liam is still very much with his Love Island queen, Millie Court.
Emily continued, 'Like, we're literally just friends. Nothing's ever happened with me and Liam, like, at all. We're purely just friends. But, yeah, he supported me non stop.'

Speaking of the overall support from past Welsh Islanders, Emily said, 'The Welsh, we do have each other's back, to be honest,' adding, 'I can't complain. The boys have been pulling through for me. So I love that.'
