Love Island’s tradition of sending the contestants’ nearest and dearest into the villa towards the end of the series has provided us with some iconic moments over the years, from Dani Dyer’s hilarious grandparents showing up in Mallorca before she received a video call from her famous dad to Paige Thorne’s mum admitting she wasn’t sold on Adam Collard (and to be fair, she ended up being proved right).
One of our personal meet the family moments was all the way back on Love Island 2017 when Gabby Allen’s brother Ethan entered the villa to reunite with his sis, because, well, to put it in plainly, he’s HOT.
Viewers immediately began crushing on Ethan after laying eyes on him, with loads of viewers taking to social media to share their appreciation, and there were even rumours that he could one day become an Islander himself.
Now that Gabby’s back in the villa for All Stars 2025, rather awkwardly alongside her cheating ex, Marcel Somerville, we thought we’d do a deep dive into what Ethan’s been up to in the eight years since he first stole our hearts and (more importantly) what he looks like now – and we’ve got news: he’s even fitter than he was before.
JUST LOOK.
Swoon.
Much like his sister, Ethan is very much into fitness. As well as becoming a professional rugby player at the age of 17, he’s also a keen runner and regularly shows off his workouts (and the results 🥵) on Instagram.
As well as being a sports and fitness enthusiast, Ethan is a model and DJ, but that’s not all as he also has a finance job working in investment.
Blimey, he’s becoming more of a catch by the minute.
His super serious job is the main reason that Ethan has ruled out following in his sister’s footsteps and appearing on Love Island.
Back in 2017, during an appearance on This Morning, he told host Ruth Langsford that he wouldn’t consider the show due to his ‘line of work’.
He added, ‘I love it but it’s not me.’
Let's just hope that Gabby makes it to the end of All Stars and gets a video call from her little bro, eh?
