After watching every single episode of Love Island (including the celebrity series) you can understand why we want to apply for series 12.
Potentially meet the love of our lives? Sign us up.
Get invited to events full of celebs? Get us there.
Get paid a tonne of money for an Instagram post? It’s an absolute yes from us.
We doubt we’re the only ones who want to go on Love Island 2025 as well, remember in 2018 when it came to light that more people applied for the reality show than Oxford and Cambridge university combined? And that was back then.
We’ve since been introduced to Molly-Mae Hague, Chloe Burrows and Indiyah Polack - and they all seem to be smashing it.
So we’ve done some digging and found out how to apply and get on the show next year.
Now while a lot of Islanders get scouted on the show, according to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu whether you get approached or apply everyone has to fill out the same form.
‘When people say, "I got approached" it’s a lie. You can get approached but you still need to apply through the application on the ITV website,' she said on Abbey Clancy's Exhibit A podcast.
‘You’ve got to say what you like, what your hobbies are, what you like in a man, a weird thing about you, your deepest darkest secrets you basically tell them.
‘You have to send a long full length picture of yourself and a headshot, preferably of you done up, and then once that’s sent, if they like you, you get a call for your official first Zoom.’
She went on to say, ‘In this Zoom they advise you to look like you're going on a night out, so you get dressed up… and then months went by before I got a call.’
Thanks for the tip Ekin.
So, all you need to do is head over to the ITV website and fill out the application form.
Although be warned, Love Island 2022 finalist Indiyah Polack has revealed exactly what happens when you're going on the show.
Speaking exclusively to heat, she said, ‘You have about nine days for meeting the producers - you're reading all the consent forms, they sign you up to do a psych with a mental health specialist, you get an STI check... all of this is happening, one day after the other.
‘All these emails are coming through you have to read, [so] you're just making sure you understand the process fully.
‘It's quite an intense process once you get the go ahead and it's really fast, which is why I felt like I didn't have enough time.’
When we spoke to Jess and Eve Gale they also gave tips on how to make your Instagram account stand out for the casting team.
