Can you believe it's been just over a year since the Love Island producers left our jaws on the floor when Joey Essex walked into the villa?
Honestly, you just HAD to be there for series 11 - it was wild. Joey heading into the villa was arguably the best and worst thing of the series.
From arguing with Omar Nyame, being in a triangle with Grace Jackson and Samantha Kenny and that 'secret mission' with Mimii Tafara, he certainly played the game well.
Not well enough to win or even get in the final, but well enough that we're still talking about his stint in heat Towers.
Anyway, we were shook when bombshell Jessy Potts arrived and managed to turn Mr Joey Essex's head and despite coming fifth, claiming that their relationship would work and Joey even telling his sister and nan that she could be 'The One' - they split seven weeks after the final.
Fast forward to now and it looks like Jessy has found a new man as she's posted about a mystery someone on TikTok.
Posting a video of herself about to board a plane, Jessy wrote, 'Just a girl on her way to a different country to spend a week with a man she met for 48 hours.'
She captioned the video, 'It's for the plot x.'
LOL.
Lots of her followers rushed to comment with one person writing, 'Well, it’s not Joey so I say go for it! ❤️.'
Someone else said, 'If you don’t come back with a man, come back with a tan 😅😅 go get em girllll.'
One more added, 'Woooo good luck queen!! Go get ur husband.'
Weeks before Joey and Jessy split, she opened up exclusively to heatworld and admitted that their relationship wasn't the easiest.
'We’re organising when to see each other, and I think it’s hard because you compare it to the other couples. They’re with each other 24/7, whereas we always knew it was going to be different because he’s catching up on his normal life, whereas for the rest of us we’re thrown into a new life,' she told us.
Jessy's new relationship comes months after she (and the rest of the nation) discovered that Grace and Joey had secretly met up after Love Island 2024.
