We're a week into the latest series of Love Island and for the first time in years, the drama has been giving since day one. As much as we adore the show, it usually takes a week or so for each series to get hella entertaining, but a week and a bit in, and we've already seen arguments, tears, eavesdropping, love triangles, and fire pit games gone horribly wrong.
Oh, and they threw Joey Essex in as the first bombshell.

The third bombshell to enter the villa was Omar Nyame, and thank the reality telly gods he did because just as we all thought Queen Mimii Ngulube was at risk of being dumped following another brutal recoupling, he swooped in and took her on a date.
But it turns out he already knows another key player from this year's series - Maya Jama.
Yep, according to reports, Omar is good friends with Stormzy – who is, of course, dating the Love Island host – and even attended his 30th birthday last year, according to The Mirror.
He also went to watch his pal perform at Glastonbury last year and still has the Instagram pics on his grid to prove it.
