Ever since Love Island bosses introduced an All Stars series of the ITV2 show at the start of 2024, Maura Higgins has been at the top of our wish list of contestants.
From her iconic takedown of Tom Walker to her brutal honesty and fierce loyalty, the Love Island 2019 star provided some of the show’s most iconic moments of all time and, frankly, we need her back into the villa.
Well, our wishes are (kinda) coming true as Maura is reportedly returning to the show that made her famous – but not how you’d expect.

According to reports, Maura will be one of several former Islanders taking part in an upcoming spin-off documentary alongside the likes of Olivia Attwood, Ekin-Su and Dani Dyer to mark the tenth anniversary of the show.
Yes, it really has been ten years since Love Island first burst on to our screens.
It’s thought that the spin-off will have a Gogglebox-style format and feature the iconic Islanders looking back at some of their most memorable moments.

‘You can expect quite a few of them to reveal some seriously behind-the-scenes stories from their time in the villa,’ an insider told The Sun.
‘Love Island fans will be thrilled at the prospect, not least because ITV have brought back some of the show’s best known stars and some of the most famous couples, some of whom are still together.
‘Producers know it will be a great way to kick-off the new series.’

The upcoming series of Love Island, Love Island 2025, will be the 12th series of the dating show, with Maya Jama returning to host once again.
Bosses have reportedly been in talks to sign up the first ever transgender contestant, Michelle Roscoe, although ITV are keeping details of the cast tightly under wraps until closer to transmission.
It’s thought that the show will return in the first week of June.
