As much as we love obsessing over the Love Island stars, it's usually Maya Jama we're buzzing to see on our screens.
Whether it's her slow motion strut into the Love Island 2024 villa, her gorgeous outfits or the chats she has with the Islanders (remember when she told Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel they can tell the truth about their row because she sees everything? LOL).
Well, it turns out that even when Maya is in the villa, the Islanders can't just speak to her whenever they want - even during those awkward recoupling scenes.
"On recouplings you can't really speak to Maya, it's all very hush," recently dumped Samantha Kenny exclusively told heatworld.
"Everyone's getting filmed, you're getting your headshots taken and things like that.
"So everyone knows you've got to be silent."
Sorry but that must be so awkward.
We'll set the scene: you're stood opposite Maya Jama, your Islander pals are voting if you should get dumped or stay in the villa and there's cameras zooming around filming.
It's an absolute no from us, tbh.
Maya previously opened up to heatworld - ahead of series 11 - and admitted that she sees the Islanders as her friends.
"I get very protective of the Islanders once I get to know them. They’re my babies, my friends," she admitted.
"That’s why I love Aftersun, because I actually get that moment with them instead of just coming into the villa to break bad news.
"Aftersun is a chance for me to get to know them properly. I’ve formed nice relationships with all of the Islanders from my series. Aftersun is the best!”
Err, can we get on Love Island just so we can be friends with Maya Jama pls?
