Considering it's nearly the end of May we can't believe how little confirmed information we have about the new series of Love Island.
Every time we check out TikTok there seems to be another 'rumoured' Islander or a Casa Amor reject from series eight that insists ITV producers have contacted them but nothing concrete.
Enter Love Island host Maya Jama.
Earlier on in the week, a teeny tiny clue was left by ITV when they posted a clip on Instagram with the caption, '100% our type on paper ❤️🔥🏝️' and a message which read, 'ATTN: LOVE ISLAND IS COMING SOON. ATTENDANCE MANDATORY.'
The revelation gained thousands of likes with winter Love Island winner Kai Fagan leaving an iconic comment, 'Omg sun is shining, United are about to win the Europa league and Love Island is back.. what else can we possibly need?'
But now Love Island presenter Maya has taken to TikTok to share what's happening her end and erm, we're going to need the ITV big bosses to get their arse into gear, pronto.
'Do I even know who the Islanders are? Do I know what time and date I'm flying to Menorca? No but guess what? We are so back. We are so f***king back. I'm really excited guys,' Maya told her followers, 'sun is out, summer Love Island is about to happen, they released a little advert, ain't even the real advert yet.'
Sorry, not even Queen Maya knows when she's jetting off to Spain? It's nearly June and the face of Love Island still hasn't been provided with a boarding pass; this simply is not good enough.
'A bunch of new cuties are about to enter that villa,' she went on, 'your 9pm's will be gone, you will be locked in.'
No truer words have ever been spoken as we have no doubt that the series 12 contestants will be hella cute and we also have no doubt our 9pm weekday evenings will soon be a thing of the past.
We would just love for at least one name to be leaked, though. Oops, we mean, revealed.
