This year's cohort of Love Island stars have been doing their first round of press interviews from their undisclosed locations over the last couple of days and, let us tell you, the tea has been flowing.
Love Island 2025's Megan Forte Clarke (possibly one of the most beautiful human beings we have ever laid our eyes on btw), for example, casually revealed that she is friends with a Love Island 2024 turned All Stars 2025 legend and we are obsessed.

The musical theatre performer and energy broker from Dublin now lives in Brighton and it is here that she met none other than scorned Love Island queen, Harriett Blackmore. Which means, it's true, all Brighton Islanders know each other.
And we say 'scorned' because our Harriett hasn't exactly had the easiest time on the dating show over the last year, has she? From her feuds with Ciaran Davies and Jess White, to being mucked around by Ronnie Vint on more than one occasion, Harriett's Love Island journey was like the Wicked movie - a bumpy, emotional two-parter with great hair all round.

Megan told journalists, 'I actually am friends with Harriett from last season. We worked together in Brighton for two years, so she's prepared me. She's been telling me what to pack and stuff, so I feel like that's been a big help, having her. I'm just excited, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so I'm buzzing to get in there.'
Revealing how she knew Harriett, Megan said, 'Yeah, I do musical theatre. So we actually went to the same university, but not at the same time, which is funny, but we worked in Flannels together in Brighton.'
Obsessed with the idea of Megan being in Harriett, Grace Jackson and Matilda Draper's girly girl squad after all this.

Megan is one of 12 OGs set to end the Love Island 2025 villa on day one on Monday 9 June.
Speaking to Love Island producers before going into holding, she revealed that she is looking for 'someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humour. If they’re not bad looking, that’s always a plus. I love a boy that’s a bit pasty, like Timothée Chalamet. I don’t mind scrawny, or a bit of a ‘dad bod’. I’m 5ft1 so any height really.'
