Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague was well on the way to her happily ever after, with the house, the baby and her dream man. But her world came crashing down last August when she split from fiancé Tommy Fury, announcing that she ‘never imagined our story would end’. And while Molly-Mae, 25, has admitted she still holds out hope that she and Tommy, also 25, will reunite – after he denied cheating allegations and revealed that it was his problem with alcohol that caused their relationship to break down – the fairy tale ending she dreamed of looks far from set.

Speaking about Tommy in her Amazon Prime docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, her older sister Zoe revealed that she had a ‘very turbulent’ relationship with the boxer. She said, ‘We definitely butted heads a fair few times about him going out and me being overprotective with Molly,’ before Zoe later urged her to ‘draw a line in the sand’. Their mum Debbie also voiced her concerns, saying that alcohol had been ‘so detrimental and destructive’. Fans have weighed in, too, with many begging Molly-Mae not to take him back.

And now a source reveals that everyone’s opinions are beginning to take their toll on the Love Island 2019 star.

‘Molly-Mae's exhausted from everyone's opinions. She’s stopped reading comments because she takes it too personally when people attack her,’ we’re told. ‘She knows that her family and friends mean well, but in truth, she just wants everyone to back off. She is regaining control of her life and doesn't need everyone around her second guessing her next moves or what they think Tommy is doing.’

In her docuseries, Molly-Mae – who shares two-year-old daughter Bambi with Tommy – emotionally confessed her desire to be back together, saying, ‘All I want in this life is to be with him, to have another baby with him, and to grow old as a family. To live in a nice house and have a nice life together – that’s all I want.’ Her revelation came after the pair – who got engaged in July 2023 – were spotted kissing at a New Year’s Eve party, with and Tommy since being seen leaving her Manchester home.

Our insider adds that, while Molly-Mae is clear what she wants from her future ‘perfect life’ , there are fears it could all end in tears again.

‘Despite what people say and speculate, Molly is not stupid. She knows exactly what she wants from Tommy, but she is not about to let him off the hook,’ we’re told.

‘Tommy has agreed to see a relationship expert with her. He wants to understand why he did what he did, so he can finally marry Molly-Mae. But this is a process, and there is no promise of a happy ending.’
