Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague is about to make her long-awaited return to reality TV in her new fly-on-the-wall Amazon show. But as she gets stuck into filming, a source tells heat that it’s been a struggle for the star, as she’s still going through a lot of emotional turmoil following her split from fiancé Tommy Fury.

Our insider says, ‘Molly-Mae is feeling emotionally overwhelmed right now and unsure about her future with Tommy. She feels as though she was just about to come up for air and try to assess their situation when the camera crews started rolling for this new documentary series.’

Molly-Mae, 25, shocked fans back in August when she revealed that she and Tommy, also 25, had decided to call off their engagement after five years together. In a statement, she wrote, ‘I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,’ prompting fans to wonder if the boxer had been unfaithful during their relationship – something he denies.

Since the break-up, the pair – who met on Love Island in 2019 – have been amicably coparenting their two-year-old daughter Bambi, with Tommy reportedly desperate to win Molly-Mae back.

Now, our source reveals she’s been feeling the pressure to make her mind up about her relationship on camera – and she knows that producers would like nothing better than for her to make a shock U-turn.

‘Molly-Mae knows that reconciling with Tommy would make for great TV, and producers are keen to
get as much of their personal life on camera as they can,’ we’re told. ‘In return, they’re promising
her that she’ll have a huge hit on her hands, which would boost her overall brand and lead to even more
lucrative opportunities.’

But with Molly-Mae still trying to figure out what she wants to do, we’re told that she’s worried she may
have made a mistake inviting cameras into her home so soon after the split. The source continues, ‘The fact is, Molly-Mae can’t make these types of life-changing decisions on camera. She’s standing firm with not taking Tommy back right now because she still has trust issues – and she will address those issues on the show.’

The source adds that she is also concerned about how her decision could affect Bambi – especially if they air everything on screen. ‘She feels guilty because she knows that Bambi could not only read all about this when she’s older, she also see it on TV,’ we’re told. ‘Molly-Mae wants to make sure she
doesn’t put a foot wrong. She wants to be proud of herself and her actions, and she wants Bambi to
eventually be proud, too.’

Molly-Mae previously revealed that she had been leaning on her sister Zoe and her friends in the wake of the split, but it seems they aren’t entirely behind the show, which is set to air early next year. ‘They’re worried about her. Everyone agrees the more Molly-Mae and Tommy can sort out privately, the better – then they can come back and film once they’ve got things sorted. Her friends are begging her not to
forget her feelings for the show,’ we’re told.
